A new article in Yahoo News features author Willard Motley, whose papers are housed at NIU Libraries. Motley was an African-American writer from Chicago, most famous for his 1947 novel Knock on Any Door. The library’s collection includes diaries, correspondence, unpublished manuscripts, photos, and clippings.
